Micron Technology's assembly and test facility at Sanand is India's first semiconductor plant, built by Tata Projects under a $2.75 billion agreement with the Government of Gujarat. Construction began in July 2023 across a 93-acre site at Sanand GIDC. ECPL supplied and erected the 3,616 sq. ft. prefabricated site office from which Tata Projects ran the build — ordered in October 2023 and handed over that December.
