What makes FRP superior to steel?

FRP doesn't rust, doesn't need recoating, and doesn't suffer galvanic corrosion. In chemical and coastal environments, that translates to 25+ years of service where steel typically needs replacing every 5–8 years. It's also 70% lighter, requires no hot work permits for installation, and is non-conductive — which eliminates earthing requirements in electrical environments.

Can ECPL manufacture custom shapes?

es. We manufacture to drawing — non-standard profiles, curved sections, complex cutouts, and project-specific dimensions. Moulds and tooling are made in-house at Sokhda. Custom work doesn't carry a lead time premium over standard products.

How does FRP perform in harsh climates?

Coastal salt spray, chemical splash, UV exposure, and temperature swings from -40°C to +120°C (resin-dependent) don't affect FRP's structural integrity. Our CLM sheets and gratings are engineered with UV-stabilised gelcoat systems specifically for long-term outdoor and industrial exposure — no surface chalking, no delamination.

What standards and certifications apply?

Products are manufactured to IS, ASTM, and BS standards as applicable. Full material certifications — tensile, flexural, chemical resistance, and fire rating (Class A and self-extinguishing grades available) — ship with every order and are available for review upfront during specification.

Does ECPL ship internationally?

We supply FRP products across India and are actively building export capability for GCC, North American, and European markets. Export packaging, container-optimised loading, and English-language technical documentation are standard for international orders.
