Designed by Sanjay Puri Architects for the Prestige Education Society, the Prestige University academic block rises across five levels within a 32-acre campus in Indore. The 30,843 sq. m building steps diagonally upward, its entire terrace forming 463 stepped platforms and a 9,000 sq. m rooftop garden that doubles as an open-air auditorium seating 9,000. Responding to a climate that runs between 30°C and 40°C for eight months of the year, the east, west and south elevations are wrapped in ventilated GFRC screens that cut solar heat gain while allowing daylight.
